Our journey began in 1998 on a greenfield site with just 50 hardstands and an unfinished facilities building. Since then, we’ve grown and invested year after year, transforming our park into the welcoming, modern site it is today.
Our park was founded by Mike and Martina McDonnell on family land that had served for generations as a farm supplying our butcher shop. Accessing this land was challenging for motorhomes and caravans until we built a bridge over the River Lee. At the time, we were the only development along Dan Spring Road besides the Aqua Dome. Today, we’re surrounded by amenities like the cinema, tennis courts, Rose Hotel, river walk, and residential apartments.
While Mike and Martina remain actively involved and are onsite every day, the day-to-day operations are now managed by their daughter Jane, and her husband Fiacc.
